Vintage Omni Bundle - Tapes From The Attic + Lost Memoirs (Omnisphere 2.8)

The Vintage Omni Bundle features 2 libraries for Omnisphere 2.8 - Tapes From The Attic, and Lost Memoirs.
Both libraries feature sound sources from vintage film and audio, and are highly conducive to creating emotive and nostalgic music with a great deal of depth and character.

Together, there are a whopping 560 patches in several categories!

TAPES FROM THE ATTIC

Tapes From The Attic is a collection of 259 patches for Omnisphere 2.8, with a vintage and lofi heart. There are 219 sound sources taken from old film and TV recordings.
Archive.org was primarily used for this endeavor. The sound sources were then creatively tweaked within the Omnisphere power synth.

From the get go, Tapes From The Attic was made with the vintage orchestral textures in mind. The idea was to find old, vintage recordings of orchestras and sample them in such a way that they can be used in modern applications – rather than using new samples and try to make them sound old (through vst effects or gear).

There are roughly 130, playable orchestral textures, and 129 other sounds in various categories (keys, strings, synths, etc).

Contents:

ARP+BPM 7
Bells And Vibes 1
Brass 17
Hits And Bits 6
Keyboards 12
Pads + Strings 30
Synth Mono 1
Synth Poly 28
Textures Playable 130
Textures Soundscapes 9
Voice And Wind 18

Experimentation guided a lot of the process of making the set. So while it was originally meant to feature just orchestral textures, I just let myself create whatever came out of the experimentation process.
There’s also a lot of cross-over and subjectivity to the set. For example, though there is a “synth” patch collection within this set, none of the sounds are really synths. They are merely sounds that resemble synths, which are derived from old vintage recordings. Some of them are even from a trumpet sample.
If you are familiar with the Elixer series for Kontakt, some of the non-orchestral sounds are similar (and were created with similar processes).
I had a lot of fun creating my very first Omnisphere set. Please enjoy!

                                                                      LOST MEMOIRS

Lost Memoirs is a collection of 301 vintage patches in 13 categories, for Omnisphere 2.8.
The library is brimming with a lo-fi grit on every patch. Unstable, nostalgic synths blend with reimagined string recordings. Granular brass and dirty woodwinds give way to haunting, broken choirs. Found sounds are morphed into evocative, playable soundscapes. Tender guitars reflect gently bubbling, melancholic retro synth arps. Lost Memoirs is a journey into a beautifully fragile past, coated in a haze of distant dust.

This is a library full of emotion, grit and beauty. In part this is due to the fact that most of the sounds come straight from old recordings. These vintage qualities are baked into the sound, creating a sense of nostalgia. Sometimes effects were added in order to increase the "vintage" quality of the sound.

Despite its vintage source material, the set remains highly versatile, offering a range of tones suitable for genres spanning ambient, electronic, cinematic, and beyond.

There are 304 sound sources, mostly coming from vintage public domain film and audio. The rest come from virtual analog synths (The Legend, Repro-5, and Lush-101).
Tweaked through the Omnisphere 2 engine, the result is a palette of sounds that is not only beautiful but also deeply evocative. You will find many gritty and mangled sounds, but also many emotional and nostalgic sounds.
