Beautiful Void Audio is the result of a sound design journey begun by Erick McNerney, with a dedication to crafting unique, beautiful and creative sounds. This journey began in 2016 under the name Half-Light Sampling with the release of small experimental projects on sampleism.com (now lootaudio.com). These projects received some praise and success, opening up more opportunities, including collaborations with Glyn Lloyd of Loot Audio, Lindon Parker of Channel Robot, Paul Lebküchner of Sound Aesthetics Sampling, Jaap Visser of Triple Spiral Audio, Sam Windell of Frozen Plain, Pierre-Augustin Vallin of Foster's Lab and Hans Shenk.

Beautiful Void Audio is always in the pursuit of creating and discovering unique and interesting sounds. So far during this pursuit, we have created a number of "gems", loved by many - including Headphase, Seurat, Metamorpha:Allmosphere and the Elixer Series (among others).

We believe a sound should speak for itself. This is why we tend to shy away from over-the-top marketing strategies, and hyperbolic advertising slogans. Consistent with this approach, most of our demos and playthroughs feature the sounds by themselves, with no fluff, and minimal editing. We want you to know what you are buying.
