Elixer is a powerful 4 voice instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt sampler.
Contents:
2.64GB uncompressed (1,730 files, 44.1khz 16bit)
Most sound sources in the instrument category are multisampled, and have a dynamic sound and feel when played polyphonically - not just a single note stretched across the length of the keyboard.
There are 5 sound source categories inside:
1 The Lost Tapes (All sound sources)
2 All 4 In (All sound sources + the same sound source can be placed in up to all 4 slots)
3 Dialogue and FX
4 Instruments
5 Reversed (All sound sources reversed)
Each category contains a selection of presets (snapshots). There are 205 of these snapshots available in total. You can use the snapshots as a starting point for your own sound design or as instant inspiration for your compositions.
Included are extensive randomisation controls. Each page can be randomised (Voices, Modulation, Effects and Movement) or you can randomise individual voice selections.
Elixer and the 'Motion' engine was developed by Divergent Audio Group with Erick McNerney providing the wonderful sound design elements contained therein.
Effects
A comprehensive onboard effects page is included with:
Chorus
Distortion
Lo-Fi
Delay
Filter
Spatial
Convolution Reverb
The randomise button will randomise all effects on the current page
Modulation
Dedicated modulation controls gve you the ability to shape your sound just the way you want it. There are 4 LFOs and 4 Envelopes with 24 destinations to assign them to. Again, the randomise button will randomise the modultion control for the current page.
Movement
The centrepiece of the instrument is the highly creative XY blend control.
This control allows you to blend the levels for each of the 4 voices. We also added a unique Movement control which allows you to automate the movement of the XY control in exciting new ways. You can make the blend control move vertically, horizontally or in a circular motion on the movement page.
This allows you to create sounds that blend exactly how you want them to, in sync with your project.
The movement can be smooth and gradual or instant and choppy so you can set up gradual texture changes or even rhythmic pulses with this simple to use control.
Movement Panel
The Movement panel blend control can be dragged with your mouse while the automation engine plays in real time or you can use the sliders along the edges for precise control. You can also assign midi cc or host automation parameters to the sliders to create complex movements and record the results in your DAW
Requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1+ (Does NOT work with the free Kontakt Player version)
