Metamorpha:Allmosphere + Broken Bells - Bundle (Kontakt 5.8.0+)

This bundle contains 2 unique libraries from Beautiful Void Audio and Sound Aestethics Sampling. The original sample sources are the same, but Metamorpha contains more sound design processing, whereas Broken Bells contains the source material.

1. METAMORPHA

Metamorpha is the first in a new smaller series of libraries we’ll be releasing. The idea behind this is to have beautiful little instruments at your fingertips that inspire you, that do not have an overcomplicated engine. First of all it’s just plug & play. The Instruments will be based on the original recordings of a bigger library, but pushing it into a different direction mood wise (from the source's orginal intent). There are also sampled instruments that have been recorded for this series exclusively, like a glockenspiel, various bells and more.

Metamorpha:Allmosphere is based on our recent library Broken Bells, which has been produced in collaboration with Erick McNerney, who is best known for his work with Beautiful Void Audio, Halflightsampling and Audio Reward. Paul took the original Bell and Bowed recordings Erick made and created a vast array of totally different sounds. From beautifully resonating Glass Pads over Soaring Sustains to even Synthesized String and Brass Ensembles, and much more. But don’t let the small amount of UI controls fool you, this library can sound big! We included a few features, which help you to create a rich, full sound - like the texturizer or the spread function. But enough talking! SOUND
Metamorpha:Allmosphere does not have a dual, tri or quad layer architecture, but we thought it would just not be necessary since there are no additional effects going on inside Kontakt.
You can easily add multiple instances to create your own multis and then using your own gear inside your DAW. For usage there is not much to say. There is a sound selection menu, which can be triggered by clicking on it or using the forward/backward arrows - of course all dynamically purged to save your systems resources. Additionally, you’ll get Volume Envelope controls to shape the Envelope Curve of the sound.

SHAPE
The shape controls are a bit deeper than the sound controls. First of all you’ve got control over Sample Offset, Octave Shift, HighPass and LowPass Filtering, which of course can all be automated. But now to the fun part: The spread function allows you to create an endless sound variation every time you press a key; The higher you set it the higher the variation will be. Texturizer basically adds two more voices: One hard panned left, one hard panned right. Together with the spread function, these controls give the ability to enrich the sound and control the intensity (basically the volume of the two outer voices) by using the “texture” control.

2. BROKEN BELLS
 
Though called “Broken Bells,” bells are not the only thing that was sampled. While we did sample some traditional bells, we also sampled tibetan singing bowls, kitchen mixing bowls, vases, wine glasses other random objects which gave a “ringing” sound which we thought was cool. We also bowed a variety of objects, including the objects mentioned above, but also a giant tin cylinder which once held the Christmas popcorn from last year. If you’re in need of rusty, dirty, and beautifully imperfect bell sounds then Broken Bells is for you.

SOUND
Broken Bells comes with a simple to use UI only carrying the most essential features like Filter, ADSR, Sound Shaping controls, etc. You will see below that it definitely has some interesting features to shape the sounds.


SHAPE
The Shape Controls gives you deep control over the sound of the selected instrument. Note that this works for each instrument individually, in case you want to dynamically switch between instruments via keyswitch. You have control settings like panorama position, advanced sample start point, volume envelope etc. Besides that is there also a filter part where you can apply an envelope to to further shape the raw instrument. We did also not include any further effects like delay, chorus etc. Since most of the time our customers are using their own gear or plugins, you only get the most essential tone shaping effects.

– Body, which is basically a very short convolution reverb to voluminize the overall sound 
– Tape, which drives the incoming signal from the instruments through a tape saturator

Of course you also have the option to change performance settings like Timing, Vibrato, Velocity or Expression.
